Sciences and Mathematics Outreach

Sciences and Mathematics Outreach connects students, teachers and communities across Alabama and beyond with meaningful opportunities to explore science and mathematics.

We promote STEM literacy through hands-on learning, mentorship and community partnerships by bringing engaging STEM experiences to K-12 students, educators and families. Through events, competitions, camps, teacher professional development, and community engagement programs, we inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, mathematicians and innovators.

Through these efforts, Sciences and Mathematics Outreach promotes scientific literacy, career awareness and hands-on learning opportunities.
