Drop-In Center
The COSAM Drop-In Center is an academic support hub open to all undergraduate students majoring in science or mathematics. During the academic year, the center offers free walk-in tutoring in biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics, along with comfortable study and workshop space in the Science Center Classrooms building.
Find tutoring help, work with peers and get support on challenging coursework in a supportive environment with trained staff and student helpers.
Why Visit the Drop-In Center?
Whether you need help working through homework, want a quiet place to focus or want to connect with other science and math students, the Drop-In Center can help you succeed. Students use the space to review material prepare for exams get unstuck on difficult problems and reinforce concepts from class.
Fall 2026 Drop-In Hours
Location: Science Center Classrooms 226 & 228
All drop-in tutoring is in person.
Mathematics: 9 - 11 a.m.
Physics: noon - 2 p.m.
Chemistry: 2 - 4 p.m.
Biology: 4 - 6 p.m.
