Short Bio

I joined Rashotte Lab from Sri Lanka. I’m interested in exploring cytokinin signaling and tomato abiotic stress in regulating leaf senescence. I have studied the leaf senescence in tomato under various contexts, and my current project focuses on how cytokinin regulates ROS homeostasis during stress induced leaf senescence. I use transcriptomics to understand gene regulatory networks that are switched on and off during stress related leaf senescence events. Fun fact: I love running
