I am a PhD student in the Department of Biological Sciences at Auburn University in Dr. Alexey Petrov’s lab. My research uses single-molecule fluorescence methods to investigate translation and mRNA surveillance at the molecular level. Through this work, I hope to understand the dynamic processes that regulate gene expression using biophysical approaches.
