Michael Frunzi is a MS student in the Cullen lab at Auburn University. His areas of research are paleobiology and paleoecology, specifically in the context of non-avian dinosaurs.

Innovation
Michael's research areas are paleobiology and paleoecology. More specifically, he uses a combination isotope analysis and paleohistology to study non-avian tyrannosaur dinosaurs.
Engagement
Michael is an active volunteer at Auburn University's Museum of Natural History, and has participated in many outreach events led by the museum. Outside of Auburn, Michael has been a guest speaker at numerous different schools, and spent over a year doing outreach with the New Jersey State Museum before starting at Auburn. He is incredibly passionate about scientific communication and outreach, and takes every opportunity he can to talk to the public about paleontology and extinct life.
