Short Bio
I am a biologist and biology education researcher, bridging disciplinary biology and education science to understand how students learn and how we can design biology courses that help more students see themselves as capable and engaged scientists. Recent research harnesses collaborative, international networks of biology instructors and classrooms to explore the impacts of scientist role models, approaches to effective data literacy instruction, and inclusive teaching practices.
