Professional Experience
I was a teaching assistant for general chemistry and reproductive biology, an academic tutor for all chemistry courses and a peer advisor for new students at my undergraduate institution.
Innovation
I completed undergraduate research on the effect of icariin on the female mouse reproductive system. This drug has been used in homeopathic medicine for centuries and there is a gap on its toxicity to reproductive tissues. I completed this pilot study and gained skills in cryostat sectioning, staining and histology, and ImageJ and R studio analysis.
