Dr. Rebecca D. Riggs is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences at Auburn University where she is recognized for her expertise in teaching large lecture classes and participates in curriculum development. She oversees the logistics and delivery of general microbiology and biology courses ensuring rigorous academic standards are met for students. Beyond the classroom, Dr. Riggs is involved in pedagogical innovation. She has served as a facilitator for Auburn University faculty workshops where she mentored fellow faculty members in creating effective, student-centered learning environments.
