Short Bio

Alicia is a PhD student in Biological Sciences and holds a Master's in Natural Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Her research focuses on developing genomics and systematics tools for endangered species detection, informing conservation plans for freshwater mollusks in the southeastern United States. She is also using metabarcoding environmental DNA tools to evaluate research questions relative to informing fisheries pond management in the Southeast.
