Microbial, Cellular and Molecular Biology prepares students to study life at the cellular and molecular level, with options focused on microbiology and cell and molecular biology. Students build a strong foundation in biology, chemistry, genetics and laboratory science while developing skills for careers in biotechnology, biomedical science, environmental and food microbiology, health-related fields and research. BS Microbiology Option
The Microbiology Option prepares students to study microorganisms and their roles in human health, disease, food systems and the environment. Students build a foundation for careers or advanced study in clinical, food, environmental, biomedical and research-focused microbiology.
BS Cell and Molecular Biology Option
The Cell and Molecular Biology Option focuses on life at the cellular and molecular level, including genetics, molecular biology and cellular processes. Students prepare for careers or advanced study in biotechnology, biomedical research, health-related fields and related biological sciences.
