Biomedical Sciences prepares students for careers and advanced study in health care, biomedical research and related scientific fields. The undergraduate program includes two main pathways: Biomedical Sciences, designed for students pursuing traditional pre-health fields such as medicine, dentistry and optometry, and Health Sciences, a flexible pathway for students preparing for a broader range of health care careers. Specialized pathways are also available for students preparing for physician assistant, physical therapy, anesthesiologist assistant and pharmacy programs. Graduate programs provide advanced training for students pursuing research, professional advancement or doctoral-level study in biomedical science.
