The COSAM Office of Research and Graduate Studies supports faculty, students and staff across the research lifecycle, from identifying funding opportunities and developing proposals to managing awards, supporting graduate research and advancing college-wide research initiatives.

Our office works with departments, college leadership and university partners to strengthen COSAM’s research enterprise and support graduate student success across the College of Sciences and Mathematics.

COSAM supports faculty in identifying funding opportunities, strengthening proposal concepts, coordinating peer review and advancing interdisciplinary or center-scale research development.

A different view of game day

Earth system science graduate Brandon Ryan spent four years studying how extreme heat affects fans at outdoor sporting events.
