Our center organizes monthly seminars (Tuesdays 4 pm (CDT)), where faculty, students, or invited speakers present their research results or literature reviews. Join us in SCC 115 or via ZOOM.
CM4 Symposia
Our center organizes annual symposia, where students present their posters and have the chance to act as judges as well. Awards are given to the bext three posters/presenters.
The three poster winners from our first symposium were Raissa Santos de Lima Rosa, Valentina Nesterova and Jackson Cho. Congratulations!
Open Positions
The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Auburn University seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level in the area of computaional and theoretical chemistry. Candidates with expertise and interest in developing theoretical models and algorithms are desired. The successful candidate is expected to establish an extramurally funded, internationally recognized research program. Additionally, the candidate is encouraged to participate in on-campus collaborative efforts such as the Auburn University Center for Multiscale Modeling of Materials and Molecules (CM4). Duties also include teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Thus, excellent written and interpersonal communication skills are required. A PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field and at least one year of postdoctoral experience are required at the time employment begins. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States at the time employment begins and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment.
