MS in Biological Sciences | Non-Thesis, Pre-Professional
The Master of Science in Biological Sciences Non-Thesis Pre-Professional Option at Auburn University is designed for students seeking advanced coursework in biology as preparation for professional school or other health-related pathways.
The program provides a broad graduate experience that enhances students’ understanding of biological phenomena and processes while strengthening their credentials for application to dental, medical, optometry, physician assistant and other health care professional programs.
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Undergraduate coursework in genetics, calculus, organic chemistry, physics, evolution or ecology
- A letter of intent
- Curriculum vitae
- Three letters of recommendation
- Official transcripts
The Department of Biological Sciences does not require or review GRE scores for graduate admissions decisions. Applicants may disregard the incomplete status message for standardized test scores if all other required materials have been submitted.
Applications are due by May 10.
