Plan Your Visit to Auburn's Donald E. Davis Arboretum
Free and open to the public daily from sunrise to sunset, the Donald E. Davis Arboretum offers a peaceful place to walk, learn and explore Auburn’s native plant collections. Visitors can enjoy shaded trails, water features, seasonal blooms and quiet natural spaces just steps from the center of campus.
Whether stopping by for a short walk, bringing a class or community group, taking photos or exploring Alabama’s native plants, visitors are welcome to experience one of Auburn’s most distinctive outdoor spaces throughout the year.
Parking is available near entrances on three sides of the Arboretum, including along Lem Morrison Drive, along Garden Drive and in the Arboretum parking lot off Garden Drive.
During the week, visitors must have an Auburn University parking hangtag or visitor permit from Auburn University Parking Services to park in these areas. Parking passes are not required on weekends and university holidays.
The Arboretum offers shaded paths, water features, native plant collections and open spaces for walking, learning and reflection. Visitors can explore Alabama’s native plants and habitats while enjoying one of Auburn’s most distinctive outdoor spaces.
The grounds include more than two miles of walking trails, many of which are accessible for visitors with strollers. Please help protect the Arboretum’s living collections by staying on designated paths when possible and leaving plants, flowers, seeds and natural materials in place.
Visitors are welcome to enjoy and photograph the Arboretum. Please be mindful of other guests, stay on designated paths where appropriate and avoid disturbing plant collections, wildlife or natural areas.

The Davis Arboretum is a living collection, public garden and conservation resource. Visitors can help protect the grounds by keeping pets leashed, picking up after animals, staying on paths when possible and leaving plants and natural materials undisturbed.
